At Computer Samurai, we believe that technology has the power to enhance lives. From simplifying daily tasks to connecting us with loved ones across the globe, technology shapes the way we live and interact with the world. Erik and Kathy recognized an opportunity to make a positive impact in their community by offering trustworthy, local computer and technical support—a service that larger corporate entities often overlook.

Getting the most out of your technology is hard and can be down right frustrating. Founded in September 2009 by Erik and Kathy Haapala, our mission at Computer Samurai is simple: to empower individuals in our community to feel confident, capable, and secure in their technology.

Erik's lifelong passion for computers and technology ignited the spark for Computer Samurai. Known as the go-to tech guru among friends and family, Erik found joy in sharing his knowledge, troubleshooting issues, and providing support whenever needed. It was through this organic process of helping others that the idea for Computer Samurai was born.

We can be their guide through continuous improvement (The Kaizen Principal: to constantly be improving) with educational consultations and recommendations before outside purchases are made -we take it to another level, 3-year computer upgrade program, always providing consistent updates, monitoring, malware, background maintenance and so much more.

People use technology because it is a tool that gives them something they want or need. Those things can be positive or negative, the ways technology is used can be for good or bad. The problem is most individuals and small businesses do not have the support they need to navigate the constantly changing world of IT. Computer Samurai’s membership program offers the unlimited support, educational experiences and full-time monitoring and security services people need to feel confident, capable and secure in all their technology.
