Computer Samurai was formed in September 2009 to help people. Technology and computers have the ability to make people’s lives better and Erik and Kathy Haapala knew there was an opportunity for them to be a positive part of it.
Erik always had a passion for computers and technology.
He enjoyed learning about them, using them and helping others. He was the go to help for friends and family when they had computer questions, technology issues or the most popular question, “My printer won’t print. Can you help me?” He received lots of feedback and encouragement from people saying that there was a need for his help and that he was good at it. That sparked the idea for their business. There are larger corporate computer support organizations and people that understand technology, but after doing research they realized that people had a need for local computer and technical support that they could trust.
